care ministry
It's time to get started.
As we follow the example of Jesus to be salt and light to one another, we will be His hands and feet to members of the Body of Christ at SCC, identifying and meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of members of SCC and their families.
All members of SCC have opportunities to put into practice the command to "bear one another's burdens" in humility, out of obedience to Christ. Service to one another will free us from love of self, focus our love on those in need, lead us to connect more closely as a community, and grow in maturity as we live out our gift of faith.
Some of the opportunities we have to serve and care for others
Visitations: Teams and individuals will take time to visit members of SCC who are hospitalized, shut-in, or in need of spiritual, emotional, or physical care to assess needs and serve them to promote wholeness and healing.
Drivers: Some SCC members need to go on doctor visits but are unable to drive into Louisville. Care Ministry Drivers would help meet this need.
